Approval of the agenda - Norma Spalding

Approval of the minutes of the Fall Business Meeting - Helen Barnes
Helen reported that the draft of the minutes of the Fall Business meeting was on the web site. The draft of the minutes on the web site was approved as written. MSP Roesler/Pousson.
Treasurer's report - Sue Valenzuela
Sue reported the balances and expenses*.
After discussion it was moved to dissolve the old PAC fund by transferring the balance into the regular savings. MSP Radloft/Chamberlain.

Number of attendees at this conference - Sue Valenzuela
Sue reported that Friday's attendance was 76 and Saturday's was 68.
Report on "Pass the Hat" and the school scholarship winner - Donnette Fillmore
Donnette reported that $274.00 was collected at this conference. $250.00 was awarded to American College of Nursing, Concord.
After discussion it was moved that if we collect over $500.00 at a conference that two scholarships will be awarded at that conference. MSP Rowe/Smith/McKenna
Report on incorporation - Norma Spalding
Norma reported that we are now a Federal non-profit.

As a service to our members, the Board has voted to have a job openings page on the CVNE website. The Board has voted to change the site name to "Career Opportunities". Organizations who wish to announce available vocational nursing education positions may contact Darlla at DRoesler@westerncollege.edu, to have their link placed on the CVNE website.
BVNPT board term limit for LVN educator - Norma Spalding
Please write letters to the Governor to reappoint Teresa Bella-Jones and John Vertido to the Board.

Special election - Norma Spalding
Yesterday we held a special election for corresponding secretary as the member who was elected in the Fall is no longer qualified due to a conflict of interest. Four members were nominated and the incumbent Elizabeth Rich was reelected. The three other members were encouraged to consider open positions for the Fall election.
Adjournment - Norma Spalding
The meeting was adjourned at 2:55 PM. MSP Liefer/Rich.
